Showtime was a disappointing movie; a satire of the reality tv cop show genre that was too self-aware. It had elements of films like lethal weapon mixed with a reality cop show. Good, but not great performances from eddie murphy, robert deniro and rene russo. Entertaining, but not particularly great.
