Piazza d’oro coffee. Just as I was about to photograph the last café, my phone rang. By my calculations, this is the last non-franchise café in north sydney that I haven’t visited; perhaps there are a couple on the other side of the harbour bridge?
Why is it last? It’s not an easy one to find: on walker st, but about 30 metres back from the street. Inexpensive, with a range of lunch specials and a pleasant outdoor area to relax in.
Coffee is very hot, quite watery, and doesn’t taste all that great; unusual for piazza d’oro.
