Sandwich garden, Wynyard

Robert Timms coffee. This place is one of many shopfronts selling breakfast and lunch to commuters and city workers alike: it distinguishes itself with its range of breads on display, and the way they’re proudly arranged.
The decaf is straight from a container of the pre-ground stuff, and the takeaway cup is seriously hot: I’m already across the Harbour Bridge before I’m taking anything but the most tentative sips. Somehow provides a level of comfort – probably by being like a cup of hot milk on a cold, rainy day.
