Just called into an internet kiosk while in the Gold Coast.
The exams are over, which is a great relief. I’m trying to improve my skills with cryptic crosswords, and generally wind down after a busy year. I’ve had a lot of success with that so far, but I’m eagerly anticipating this next week of relaxation too.
Somehow, despite a lot of sunscreen, I’ve managed to get a bit sunburnt, but I think all will be okay. The wedding we were up here for went really well: a civil ceremony on the grounds of a golf course; Kel did a reading that was adapted from 1 Corinthians 13, and we had a great time at the reception. Next up is a road trip back south to Sydney.
