Better Working Tip: Reclaim the Morning

The ideas in this post about reclaiming the morning, and especially about moving the iPhone away from being the last device checked at night, and the first thing to look at in the morning really resonate with me: much of the first hour that I’m awake is spent checking email / twitter / RSS feeds, and it appears to have reached a point where I’m not as much in control of this habit as I would like to be.

How long are you awake before you go online and start checking things? Are there other offline tasks that would be better ways to start the day?
