El? Coffee. 344 Darling St, Balmain. Converted (ahem) uniting church hall turned cafe, which – on Sundays – is back to being a church (thanks tom). The circle cafe website says that the rent paid by the cafe goes to help local refugees.
It’s a supremely welcoming space. Regulars from all walks of life are seated in the varied eating environments in the large space (an especially massive space for Balmain).
Though they don’t have a decaf grinder, they nonetheless present a milky, drinkable coffee.
