Changing Lanes made me feel like I was watching a family argument; it’s an excellent, very real display of how people can degenerate from being civil to trying to hurt each other’s lives. When one of the two main characters tries to do the right thing, they find that they can’t, because the other character has escalated the conflict. The most interesting line in the film was from a lawyer who is doing all manner of illegal / unethical things: “At the end of the day, I do more good than harm. What other standard have I got?”
