Movie: Crash
Ensemble cast, complex, intertwined racial drama set in Los Angeles. Not for the faint-hearted in terms of its content, but it appears in a furthering-the-plot way, rather than for the sake of appealing to a particular demographic. Moments of laughter, lots of emotionally involving scenes, and an overall message of hope that individuals can reform, mixed with commentary that many will not.
