you beat me to blogging this. You know if i got a battery replacement for my ipod, and bought a new remote and headphones it would set me back about $240? It makes it almost worth buying a nem ipod mini INSTEAD.
Plus itunes now supports podcasts.
As I understand it, the ipodmini will still have a monochrome screen; they’re probably more solid than an aging ipod, though.
You can buy an old monochrome 20G for $429, or a new colour one for $439. Not sure when the latter will be available, though.
