I currently file into folders by hand, but I think this only works becasue I have a relatively small number of emails coming in per day, and I only check them in the evening. So its not a huge workload to quickly move them when they arrive. I think with a higher number of messages coming through it would become more time consuming.
I use http://cafedave.net/cafedave/archives/2007/06/mailacton“ rel=”nofollow”>Mail Act-On to do a similar thing; there’s something about a crowded inbox that just irritates me.
