Headed into Pyrmont this morning to have a look at an organic food markets, and – being so close to Darling Harbour – I thought I’d take a few photos of one of the 2.5m high fences that adorn our great city.
As you can see, it’s not a horrible sight, blocking everyone’s view, but it seems an unwelcome protrusion into our otherwise friendly and welcoming city.
I’m wondering – what are they going to do with 5km of this fencing once the APEC leaders leave? Does anyone have any suggestions?
I dont have a fence on either side of my house Dave. Turning up in the middle of the night in army fatigues to steal some during APEC seems like a bad idea to me.
