With the sound of traffic still barely audible through the glass doors, the floorspace in this café is evenly divided. On one side tables, with awesome tiled pattern, and a cake shop window filled with a mix of traditional fare and unusual, but delicious creations.
A weak, belaroma latte is brought out after a while: not a standout coffee by itself, but a great compliment to the portuguese tart I ordered: it’s this that the café is known for, and if you’re after a sweet dessert that’s not too heavy, this is a worthy destination.
I’ve *heard* the tarts are fantastic…
