The Thirteenth Floor was a well put together cyberspace movie, with some excellent twists, but had a couple of moments that seemed out of place.

Kiss the Girls is a much better thriller than its sequel, although it seemed a little too similar to silence of the lambs.

Saw Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone at long last, and really enjoyed it. Still haven’t read the book(s) or even thought about them, but I’ll get there one day, I’m sure. According to IMDB, the third one is in pre-production already.

Requiem for a Dream shows what happens when addictions go too far; I found the last quarter of it just too grisly to justify, though.

The lead actor in Goodbye, Mr. Chips reminds me a lot of Michael Palin, and a few scenes in there were pretty clearly the inspiration for a number of Monty Python scenes, I think.
