[dc] Article on Interface Design for computer games “Designing A Good Interface“; uses a number of different games as examples, and quotes mostly Donald Norman (Psychology of Everyday things” as the interface guru. Useful as a review of different game interfaces (especially the screengrabs), but apart from saying “change the cursor based on context” and “make sure buttons look like buttons” there’s not a lot of recommendations made.
