Book:The Essence of Psychology
Another of the short books that Birkett has written. Mostly a summary of the history of Psychology, with some coverage of the issues to consider in reconciling Christianity with psychology. Having read it, I feel like I recognise the names and the timeframes of the various movements in psychology, although which movements Birkett approves of are clear from the change in tone in the summary. A good starting point, but I think it would be necessary to dig deeper even to have a basic understanding of the issues.
