On the way home, we stopped in to visit Kel’s mum, and I learned a new skill – how to use an overlocker. This was the part of curtain making that I was least bad at – I think I managed to do an okay job, but it seems like something best left to the experts.
If it’s any consolation, the part that i was least bad at was the clamping of the curtain so as to measure it. I had those clamps down pat….
Yeah; I tried the clamping, failed miserably at adding the “stiffening” to the curtains, eased through trimming stray stitches from the weights, but felt most competent at making the little weight bags.
