Coffee philosophy, strand arcade sydney

Moccopan coffee. Rancilio espresso machine. As you’d expect from the strand arcade, a range of cakes, pastries, pies and sausage rolls: nothing venturing too far from aussie traditional fare.

The barista works away steadily, serving the in-shop and arcade customers with a minute or two lag between ordering and coffee. The place is very quiet: the loudest sounds here are not the talking of customers. But the ring of the desk bell signifying the readiness of yet another coffee.

My latte is good, of medium strength, milk a little on the thin side, but still good-drinking.
