Musetti coffee. Overlooking burwood park, with a great breeze moving through the indoor and outdoor seating. Has an adjoining pizzeria, but on the café side, it’s comfortable furnished, with lounge-style seats to sink into. There’s some traffic noise here, and a view of burwood park. Mains are around $17 on the specials board.
After sitting for a while, someone takes my order, and brings out a coffee. It has about an inch of foam at the top of a 3-inch high latte glass, is fairly hot, and has something of a metallic taste: this isn’t a blend of coffee I recall seeing before, but I don’t think it’s destined to become a favourite.
Update: closed down – it’s now a Thai restaurant.
