Schibello coffee. Indoor, outdoor seating up the hill on Berry Street; in the distance, the pacific highway, but here, it’s quiet. A gentle breeze blows across our downward sloping table. Cheery staff take the order.
A generous sized large latte comes out just the right temperature, with a rich creamy foam. The taste isn’t quite what i’m looking for in a favourite coffee, but very good for North Sydney.
I work in the Sun building next door which has a cafe in the foyer (Cafe 33) but sidestep it and head up to this place for a decent (but not ideal) cup of coffee. Pretty decent meals too, although a Thai restaurant has opened up across Pacific Highway that is winning my patronage of late for lunch.
