Yanick’s café, north sydney

The coffee roaster coffee. Talk about hidden; there are two sets of automatic doors between the street and this combination sandwich bar / eating nook. The radio drifts across this comfortable, but artificially lit space. There’s even some semi-outdoor space to sit in the adjoining corridor.

A single, friendly barista is doing all the café tasks; food, coffee, money handling. A range of pastries and teas, including chai, and the prices are quite reasonable.

Coffee, when it’s made, is a good temperature, but i’m not convinced by the initial taste. After a few sips, it settles into something more palatable.
