Until now there’s always been a clash that has prevented me from making it to one of the Grind birthday parties, but this year, kel and I trekked down to Cronulla to see how many people would turn up to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the opening of one of my favourite cafes.
As you can tell from the photo, there was a big turnout. Grind is an unusual place in the sheer loyalty and enthusiasm it generates in its customers. Not only that, but the coffee unusually good – among the best in Sydney.
I’ve been inspired by the grind birthday to make my cafe posts a bit more accessible: there are a bunch of keywords over to the right: if you’re curious about cafes (mostly in Sydney), you might enjoy exploring.
