It’s good to know I’m not the only one feeling this way about Information Overload. There are really just too many sources to read through; mark as read becomes mark as too hard to deal with. Does anyone else feel this way about it?

wisdom from movies?
Saw this movie a long while ago, about (and titled) The four rules: Strength needs no excuse The past is pointless Just because it happened to you does not make it interesting The things you apologize for are the things you really want A blog isn’t really the right forum to discuss these rules, as …
Lithgow: Big Miner’s Lamp
Big Miner’s Lamp Originally uploaded by cafedave. On the trip up to Mudgee we returned to my long-term project of seeing all the “big things”; here’s Lithgow’s contribution: the Big Miner’s Lamp.

There’s always the laptop, the side projects, the blog, checking email, checking RSS feeds: and that’s without actually contacting people. Even when I’m walking on my lunchbreak, …
sunburnt at the burial
When an unusual sentence comes along, and you can apply it to yourself, it’s a shame not to blog it. I even managed to put sunscreen on before we left the car, but it wasn’t enough. A crowd of sad people – from the closest family members to those who think they should be there. …
