On Sunday morning we headed to Brunswick St to go to our regular haunt – a cafe called Atomica. Since stumbling across this cafe a couple of years ago, kel and I have made a point of trying to visit it whenever we go to Melbourne.

This time, I finally answered the big question “Just what does green eggs and salmon look like?” The eggs are scrambled with some pesto to give them their colour. Good for a novelty, but I don’t think I’ll be ordering it again.

After finishing breakfast, we said goodbye to Mark, and headed up to tea2, where we sampled a few different teas. From there, we walked across various streets on the way back to our hotel, including a shortcut through a park: it was great to walk through the dried leaves – memories of childhood in the backyard, where we had an oak tree that covered the ground with leaves every autumn.
