Gallery café, annandale

Campos coffee. Tiny street frontage belies a massive space inside; big windows at the back overlook the local houses. A range of paintings adorn the walls, as you’d expect from a “gallery café”; spare walll space is adorned wi h a variety of indoor plants. Locals – some with prams – gather to sample the breakfast menu: the prices are hovering just below the early teens, but the servings are massive.

Coffee seems a bit stale, not as high calibre as you’d expected from the campos branding. 6.5/10
